A new standard in immigration services

Our Story

Founded in 2017, INLG was established to make immigration services more personal and supportive. Our founder, Bruna Frota, recognized the need for a client-centered approach and set out to create a firm that truly listens. Today, with a team of over 80 professionals, we remain committed to guiding clients through the complexities of U.S. immigration with dedication, trust, and expertise.

Bruna Frota

FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL ATTORNEY

With 14+ years of experience and admissions to the Texas and New York Bars, she has dedicated her career to helping professionals and companies navigate their most critical immigration challenges.

As the founder of INLG, she leads a team focused on delivering “outstanding” as her baseline. Whether she is advising a multinational corporation on a complex workforce expansion or guiding a high-skilled scientist toward a National Interest Waiver (EB-2 NIW), her approach is always the same: meticulous, transparent, and results-oriented.

Prior to founding INLG, she honed her skills at premier firms such as Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP and served as corporate counsel for Santa Fe Relocation. Today, in addition to leading her own firm, she is honored to serve as General Counsel for the Consulate General of Brazil in Houston and Tramontina USA, Inc.

Caroline Schmidt

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Caroline Schmidt is a dedicated Associate Attorney at INLG, driven by a lifelong passion for immigration law. Dual-qualified to practice law, she earned her initial degree in Brazil before moving to the United States to complete her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Florida. She is a licensed member of the New York State Bar.

At INLG, Caroline focuses primarily on corporate immigration cases, though her versatile expertise allows her to navigate a wide range of immigration demands. Her international background is complemented by her fluency in four languages—Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Italian—enabling her to provide personalized legal counsel to clients in their native tongues.

During her legal studies in Florida, Caroline was selected for an exclusive delegation to the U.S. House of Representatives, where she met with the U.S. Secretary of Labor and various Congressional representatives. Her legal authority was also recognized in Brazil, where she served as a legal advisor for a prominent regional television program.
